A letter to our daughter
Happy 6 months, our lil cherub.
Daddy and I often talk about how our biggest goal in life now is to be the best parent we can be for you.
To provide, guide, and to give you experiences.
To teach you about family, that family’s not only blood and that building connections with people is as important as food or water.
That life gives us lessons and it’s our responsibility to look at situations with no emotion and listen to what the universe is telling us through people, places or things.
That your thoughts manifest your reality, about standing up for what you believe in but also letting others believe differently.
Tell you about finances, about investing in assets, investing in yourself, about how a nice car does not mean you’ve made it.
That motivation isn’t a feeling it only applies after action, to have faith, the universe will always provide.
About giving to the less fortunate and to love people where they are at.
About reading, that learning doesn’t stop after school it’s a life long journey.
When life gets hard meet me at my favourite tree on the beach and I will hold your hand while you scream until you have no voice, as my mother did for me. Let the waves eat them, clean them and return them back to the universe.
Keep moving keep growing, to not take anything personal, nothing tells you more about yourself than how you react to situations, learn and move on.
Every morning say three things you're grateful for, have a morning routine including exercise, glass of water and brain activity.
That failure is just as a part to success then success is, take opinions like a grain of salt, not everyone’s an artist but everyone’s a critic.
The real object of education is to leave a person in the condition of continually asking questions, always ask questions. Always trust your gut.
Have fun in your journey.
You don’t have to like everyone but you do have to love them where they are at.
Sometimes bridges have to be burnt so that we have to learn how to fly.
Love others but most of all love yourself.
We know that you’ll have to learn some of these lessons on your own, on your own doesn’t mean by yourself. We will always be here for you, to love you, support you, hold you.
Our lil Gracie, forever our baby ❤️
